¶ Applicable Laws, Jurisdictions, and Clarifications
- Any and all disputes, issues, or legal inquiries that arise out of our services shall be governed by the respective laws of the United Kingdom.
- Generally, Courvix will not recognize violations of Activities: “Rule 1” under jurisdictions where related offense is not illegal inside the United Kingdom.
- Courvix recognizes the original account creator as the sole legitimate owner of the account. At no point in time will Courvix recognize a change in ownership of an account under any circumstances. Access to the account (concluding that an account breach has not occurred), or the account's recovery email is recognized as proof of account ownership.
- Account breaches are defined as any instance where an individual is accessing an account unauthorized by the account owner.
- The words “suspension”, “termination”, and “ban” are used interchangeably, and refer to access to the account by the user being revoked. In this case, Courvix can still access the data associated with the account. The account is not deleted unless Courvix has determined it to be absolutely necessary to protect Courvix or to comply with legal obligations. It should be assumed that an account deletion has not occurred unless explicitly stated by Courvix.
- Account deletions refer to all data associated with the account being physically deleted from Courvix servers. In this instance, the user would no longer exist in the database and all associated content belonging to the user has been deleted and is not accessible or recoverable. Courvix staff will not be able to access account data belonging to deleted accounts.
